The colour plan uses four green shades, four red shades, one background and one centre fabric. Choose festive prints or solids while keeping a clear contrast between the light and coloured rounds.

📐 Size & Pattern Scope

Unfinished block: 16½ × 16½ inches before joining to other pieces.
Finished size when joined: 16 × 16 inches, using ¼-inch joining seams.

This pattern ends with the pieced block. Instructions for a complete quilt, cushion, wall hanging, backing, batting, quilting, binding or hanging hardware are not included. Any larger project requires its own layout and finishing instructions.

🧵 Before You Begin

Familiarity with rotary cutting, accurate machine piecing, scant ¼-inch seams and ruler trimming is recommended. Gather quilting cotton, coordinating thread, a rotary cutter, cutting mat, suitable quilting rulers, a sewing machine and an iron. Consult the cutting table before selecting fabric quantities.

The PDF is formatted on US Letter pages and uses measurement-based cutting. The diagrams are construction guides, not full-size cutting templates.

The holly, berries, snowflakes and centre star shown in the styled images represent decorative fabric-print inspiration. Fabric designs, printed panels, embroidery charts and appliqué templates for these motifs are not included. Your result will reflect the fabrics you choose.
