Suitable for confident beginners with basic quilting knowledge. Accurate cutting, a ¼-inch seam allowance, careful pressing and measuring long borders are important. This is an assembly pattern, not a complete introduction to quilting.

Start with a panel that can be prepared to the pattern's 33 × 42-inch cut size, coordinating 5-inch squares, framing and binding fabrics, backing, batting and your usual quilting supplies.

Check the panel measurements before cutting. The PDF explains when coping strips may be needed to bring a panel to the required size. Fabric requirements are based on a 42-inch usable width of fabric.

Pattern Format & Gallery Details

The PDF is formatted for US Letter paper, with measurement-based cutting instructions and assembly diagrams. It does not contain full-size house, embroidery or appliqué templates, or printable fabric designs.

Gallery images are AI-generated fabric-styling illustrations. They show a navy-and-ivory interpretation; the PDF uses white, aqua and tomato fabric labels. The narrow red accent shown inside the navy outer border is a styling variation, not a separate border instructed in the PDF. Follow the PDF's cutting measurements and border sequence; its red fabric is used for selected squares and the outer binding. Finished appearance depends on your chosen panel, fabrics and quilting. Decorative props are not included.
