🧵 Simple Shapes, Satisfying Patchwork

Build four quarter-block units, then rotate and join them to reveal the complete design. Squares, rectangles and straight seams create the nested bands; there are no curved seams, triangle units or appliqué shapes in the block construction.

A lovely project for practising accurate cutting and straight-seam piecing. Some familiarity with your sewing machine, seam allowances and pressing is recommended; this is a block assembly pattern rather than a complete learn-to-quilt course.
